Ameghino -

shock is a small crater on the Moon, which li es north of the Sinus Successus in the bay in the north-eastern p art of Mare Fecunditatis. Less than 15 km to the northwest of the crater Ameghino landed Soviet spacecraft Luna 18 and Luna 20 Thi s formation was previously known as Apollonius C before the International Astronomical Union has given its name Florentino Ameghina Argentine investigator. Northeast of the crater is a crater Ameghino Apollonius.
